WordPress plugins I use

Thought I could share what plugins I use. I am curious to know what others are using, so it would be kind of rude to not share what I use ;) So without further ado, here they are:

Previously used

  • Login-Logout, for easier access to, well… the login, logout, site admin, et cetera. (Though handy, I figured I didn’t really need it)
  • NextGEN Gallery, a very nice photo gallery. (Very advanced and figured it was quite a lot more than what I really needed or cared for. Use the built-in gallery feature instead now)
  • Viper’s Video Quicktags, makes it easy to embed videos from YouTube and similar websites. (No longer needed in WordPress 2.9)
  • Scissors lets me for example crop, resize and rotate images when I add them to posts. (No longer needed in WordPress 2.9)
  • Platinum SEO Pack makes the blog more Search Engine Optimized. (Seems to be slowing my blog down a lot… will try without it for a while…)
  • Persistent Styles, which enables me to do some adjustments to the site styles without messing with the actual theme styles. (Discovered I could use child themes to get the same effect, except more secure and with one less plugin)
  • FD Feedburner Plugin redirects all the WordPress feeds to my Feedburner feed for me. (Currently have so few subscribers that the stats aren’t really interesting at all. So decided to switch it off and delete the FeedBurner feeds for now and have one less plugin. Will maybe activate later though)
